  4. book of the Yad VaShem Holo-
  5. caust Museum he wrote, "May 
  6. God guide our steps toward 
  7. peace. Let us end all suffering 
  8. for mankind". The symbolism of 
  9. Sadat's visit to the city was very 
  10. important in persuading Israelis 
  11. of the sincerity of his wish for 
  12. peace.
